DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN LIMA
Reception, welcome, and transfer to the selected hotel. The rest of the morning is free for acclimatization. Overnight in Lima.

DAY 02: LIMA CITY TOUR & PACHACAMAC RUINS + LUNCH
The tour begins with a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca temple from the 4th century AD. Then, we visit the Central Reserve Bank Museum*, featuring exhibits of Peru’s ancient cultures, with a selected collection of gold artifacts, ceramics, textiles, and the Cohen Gold Collection. A walking tour of the Main Square includes the Cathedral, Government Palace, and City Hall. We also visit the Santo Domingo Convent Museum and enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. *The BCRP Museum is closed on Mondays and Sundays. The tour also includes a visit to the bohemian district of Barranco. Overnight in Lima.

DAY 03: CUSCO CITY TOUR & 4 NEARBY RUINS
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cusco (airfare NOT included). Reception, welcome, and transfer to the selected hotel. The morning is free for acclimatization. In the afternoon (approx. 1:30 pm), hotel pickup for a city tour including Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), Santo Domingo Convent, the Cathedral, and the Main Square of Cusco. Afterwards, we visit the nearby archaeological parks: Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 04: CUSCO – MARAS & MORAY
We start the tour with hotel pickup. Traveling by tourist bus to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we’ll enjoy views of the snow-capped Chicón Mountain. Our first stop is the charming town of Maras, known for its colonial facades and beautiful church. We then visit the Moray archaeological complex, with its circular agricultural terraces used as an Inca agricultural laboratory. Finally, we explore the salt mines of Maras, with hundreds of white salt ponds that resemble snow from a distance. These have been used for salt extraction for thousands of years. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 05: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY + LUNCH
After breakfast, we head to Pisaq to explore its archaeological site and traditional handicraft market. We continue along the Vilcanota River to Urubamba, where we enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we visit Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns, with its original streets and impressive archaeological site. Overnight in Sacred Valley.

DAY 06: CUSCO – MACHU PICCHU
After breakfast, we transfer to the train station and travel to Aguas Calientes. From there, a bus will take us to Machu Picchu. We will explore the Sanctuary, including the agricultural area, urban sector, Sun Temple gate, stone quarries, botanical garden, Temple Square, Three Windows Temple, Intihuatana (sundial), Sacred Rock, and more. After free time to enjoy and photograph this wonder, we return to the hotel. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 07: CUSCO – FREE DAY
Breakfast and free time to explore the city at your own pace. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 08: CUSCO – DEPARTURE
Breakfast. At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Lima.
